OK so one of my children has just tested positive on l.f.t.

We are getting them pcr tested today and myself aswell. All of us actually

I'm meant to be having my booster at the weekend I can't find any info online.

It says dint go if you are self isolating but legally I don't have to self isolate but will be doing so as much as I can. Have cancelled all indoor plans. I feel I shouldn't go as don't want to put the vsccinator at risk but equally I need the jab

If you test today, you may get results back by Saturday.

You may well have the result by Saturday. Get the booster

Thanks all. PCR this morning so hopefully results tomorrow.

I know legally I can go I just feel uncomfortable with going from a few months ago as isolating as a household if a positive test (although this is the first positive household test for us) to just going about normal life. I suppose this is what the government means by living with covid.

But a few months ago my child's whole year group would be off due to this positive test 😱

My husband has been told to still go to work if his PCR is negative even with active covid in the house.
