Vaccinating DD 6 weeks after covid

It's being offered in school on Friday. DD had covid a few weeks ago. I was going to wait til the spring (4/5 months on) to vaccinate her perhaps ?

What's the science here ? She's immune for a bit anyway isn't she ?

Thecatspjgamas is incorrect, it is the other way around! Immunity from natural infection is more broad as it covers the whole virus, as everybody knows the vaccines only target the spike protein.

Latest advice is to wait 12 weeks after infection before children are vaccinated to reduce the risk of heart problems.
