URGENT - Should I get booster if DD has covid?

My DD wasn't feeling well this morning, stomach ache. Did a LFT and after 15 mins there was no second line, she felt better and went to school. I had another look at it when I got back from the school run and there is now a line on it! I don't think it's an evaporation line as it's quite thick but faint.

I'm about to leave to go and get my booster as I'm a carer. Should I still get it? Would it be bad if I got the booster and covid at the same time?

I'm planning on picking up DD on my way home and getting her a PCR.

@Pennguin

I agree. I have to balance the risk as a carer of me not getting my booster as well. I'm already 6 months and 2 weeks from my second dose.

I was never made to wait 15 mins after my jab before, I went straight home both times!

Did you have AZ first time? THat would be why.

Was the line after 30 minutes? In which case it's invalid.

So I had my booster, picked up DD who is fine. Did another LFT and it's negative! I'm going to book a PCR though just on case. It's weird how she's had this happen before as well. Never heard of a false positive LFT from anyone else.
