Covid booster- Scotland

Has anyone in Scotland booked their covid booster yet? I have accessed the portal but there don’t seem to be any available appointments. I’m in the over 50’s age bracket so was wondering if it’s just limited to high risk groups at the moment. I’m keen to have the booster asap as well as the flu vaccine which seems to be given at the same time.

It says to keep checking it as appointments become available

I went on last night and just clicked along the days until I found some appointments. Most available were evening appointments.

Thanks! I’ve just checked again and some have come up just before Christmas so I’ve booked.

I booked mine yesterday - and have an appointment for tomorrow

I had to phone because the online system didn’t work for me (already had my flu vaccine so it thought I had had covid too). First available appointment 13th December.

Where

There seem to be very few appointments where I am in a major city. We finally secured appointments on the online system miles away four weeks later than our six month post second jab window…..meantime in England people can just show up at a drop in centre five months after their second jab. I knew this would happen so booked private flu jabs in October at Boots. We’re just being cautious again re COVID until the booster.
However on the plus side I finally managed to get the App to recognise I exist …..

Yes, the first appointment I could find was 18th Dec, but I only checked the centres near me. It’s possible there were others further away. Lots of centres seemed to have no appointments at all, so I don’t know if they have all been taken or just haven’t been released yet.
