Just that really. Got the train to work last week. Came down with tonsillitis. Is it maybe my body fighting the covid virus?
I have particularly pitted tonsils.
Thanks

Have you done a PCR?

ButterBiscuitBase · 15/11/2021 16:34

In one word. No.

My friend's ds got tonsillitis directly after having Covid. But tested positive for Covid first iyswim. If you're worried- take a test!

A sore throat is a common symptom of the current covid variant, so you should probably get a PCR test. Like mildlymiffed, a friend of mine who had a sore throat as her main covid symptom went on to get full-on tonsillitis, for which she got antibiotics, but it kicked off with the coronavirus.
