Sorry I can't help you but I do know it definitely won't be on the coronavirus thread!

It's called an 'outfit flat lay' you can google or search it on Instagram

Genuinely curious what is the advantage of this layout? I would think it is tricky to visualise the shape of the garments. I’m looking at capsule ideas too so wondered if this would be of use

Flat lays , I'd think Pinterest may be your best bet.

There's that brilliant app that is always recommended on here that does this with your own wardrobe too.

ByeBumpHiBaby · 13/11/2021 20:41

I'd have a look on Pinterest too Smile

@EssexLioness

It's not for buying garments, it's just a visual of what pieces work well together. For me I can look and think "oh yeah I have clothes like that - I can combine them that way". As I'm a size 18 it is helpful to lose the visual of a slim model sometimes and the clothes tend to be more staple clothes and classic cuts so not full of mom jeans and crop tops Grin

What's the app that does it with my wardrobe @user1477249785 ? I did look at one a few years ago but remember it being too expensive for me at the time.

I suppose if you’re isolating at home and a bit bored you could sort out your wardrobe like this. It would help pass the time.

@AbstractDot thanks for explain. That makes a lot of sense. I prefer more classic pieces and agree models can be a distraction from the clothes themselves.
