Moderna booster after AZ

Has anyone had moderna after 2xAZ?

I had my booster today and was given moderna. What side effects are people having?

Had it at around 4pm. Arm was sore last night but felt fine. Today at work I felt a bit rough around lunch time so took paracetamol and felt ok. Got hot cheeks now and just too temperature and it’s high 37s so just popped another couple of paracetamol. Otherwise fine and worked all day.

Had mine today too. Arm is quite sore and I have a slight headache. Taken some paracetamol and having an early night

Woken up feeling ok, temperature down so I’m hoping I’m out the the other side.

I feel like I've been hit by a bus. Arm is sore. Can't lift it over my head, headache and nausea. Plan is to whizz round doing bit of house that needs doing and chill with Netflix.

Pleased I've had it though and heading into winter with a bit more protection.

Arm is less sore today op. Hang in there, I think the day after is the worst and then you feel lots better . I’ve been the same for all 3 now.

That's really interesting, I had my M booster at 4pm yesterday and by 9pm my cheeks were burning, didn't check temperature though, can't lift arm over head too

Yes, sure sign of a fever. I had it after the first AZ jab too. Arm is only slightly sore now and can lift it with only a little discomfort.Smile

Hmm, I have my booster on Thursday after two AZ.

Are they using Pfizer too?

At my vaccine centre I was expecting Pfizer but they said all boosters were Moderna. Not sure if they meant at my centre or in general. Moderna and Pfizer are both RNA vaccines and my understanding is that they are very similar.

Not all boosters are Moderna. I had Pfizer and everyone I've spoken to have also had Pfizer
