Delay booster due to natural immunity?

I had covid 2 weeks ago, bit grim but now fully recovered. I was due to get my booster during that time, so obviously that didn't happen. The guidelines say to wait 28 days from positive test to have the booster.

However, DH is suggesting we both wait another few months to get the booster as he reckons our natural immunity will be sky high having just had it. Therefore we can keep ourselves naturally topped up, and then get booster to maintain after Christmas.

Does anyone know if this is true/a good idea?

You may be advised by your family doctor to wait as you had Covid so recently. I'd ask them.

It’s a difficult decision and probably depends on your age and if you are vulnerable, but yes, you should have good immunity presently and be able to wait a little while.

I’ve had my booster regardless
