Why such massive side effect overreaction after each jab?😢

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 11/11/2021 11:32

Everyone else in my family skips around like spring lambs after their vaccines.

Me; 1st AZ, ill for a week, aches, pains, exhaustion, vomiting
2 nd AZ. Same except only lasted 4 days
Moderna booster. As AZ 1 but including severe nausea, stomach pains and total exhaustion.

I’m fed up😕

Getting the vaccines? 🤔

I have a shit immune system and jabs do this to me. I had the booster and the flu jab two weeks ago and I'm only just recovered.

I just accept it now.

JKDinomum · 11/11/2021 17:38

No idea but my 15 year old who was almost completely fine when she actually had Covid is really ill post Pfizer jab....

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 11/11/2021 17:40

That’s interesting Folkybythesea how do you know you have a shit immune system?

I’m never ill. The last time l had a cold must be 15 years ago. Yet l still get mental side effects.

I have an autoimmune condition, MSA and basically get any virus circulating within a five mile radius. And I have small kids so I am ill on average once a month at the moment.

I keep having them as I’d rather have side effects than severe Covid. It’s a no brainer🤷🏼‍♀️

Also that 5000 figure is quoted in a motion, with no scientific evidence linked, not hard evidence of the number of people where it has been investigated and proven to be due to one of the covid vaccines (which I don't believe and would like to see the medically-verified evidence for).

Either way, up to 5000 with unusually bad side effects from the vaccines vs hundreds of thousands dead, in a very horrible way, from catching Covid, or thousands being incapacitated with long term health issues from Long Covid (including effects on the brain, which I really don't want since I will be working until 70) is a statistical no-brainer for anyone that understands probability and risk.

verandina · 11/11/2021 20:19

I am literally at no risk of Covid, I would have cought it already if I were at risk (it's been 2 years, hello!)

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 11/11/2021 20:41

Verandina, please go away. I don’t care.

This thread is about vaccine side effects which you can’t even comment on, Go and peddle your anti-vac shite elsewhere.

Same here. Spaced out, palpitations & extreme fatigue for a week after 2nd Pfizer. Need to take daily antihistamines as react to everything.

Hi Arse%, you don't get to tell anyone to go anywhere. I can comment on whatever I want as an educated and informed person I am. Your comparison with vegans is very strange to say the least. Covid vaccines are not an ideologycal position, they are just new and rushed medication which should be open to scrutiny and if you experienced side effects after the first one it's irresponsible to take the next one, you do have to take care of your own health, covid vaccines are not a religion you sign up to. Veganism is a lifestyle choice (and a very respectable one).
BarstewardofNorthstead · 12/11/2021 08:53

@ItsSnowJokes

I am exactly the same as you. I was on the Novavax vaccine trial. 1st vaccine no problems, 2nd one hit me for 6 for 2 days and then went away. Last Saturday I had the first of my 2 Pfizer jabs and I have been ill ever since. Don't think I have ever been this ill for so long. I don't know if I will go for the 2nd Pfizer! I can't be this ill again.
I was on the Novavax trial too - no symptoms at all after either of those doses, I was convinced I had the placebo and was shocked to find out I had the real thing when unblinded.

I had my first pzifer in August and was very poorly for about a week. I had a temp of over 40, couldn't get out of bed and my arm was red and swollen.

I very nearly didn't go for my second dose, but I could bear the thought of going through that again. But barely had any side effects at all the second time around, so worth going through with

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 12/11/2021 09:25

I never mentioned vegans. People can eat what they want.

@ArseInTheCoOpWindow I’ve reported the goady person so hopefully they shall be removed. My advise is don’t give it air- don’t feed it then it will die.

IncompleteSenten · 12/11/2021 12:07

Luck of the draw. I felt like death warmed over after both AZ jabs.
Just had a Pfizer booster and not had the slightest reaction.

IncompleteSenten · 12/11/2021 12:10

What comparison with vegans? I can't see a single mention of the word by the op

I had Pfizer 1st sore arm, 2nd bad cold, booster Jesus it’s been awful. Flu like symptoms for 6 days and 2 weeks on I still have little sense of smell and taste unless it’s right up my nose I have no idea what the item smells like. Great when LO was vomiting I could clean up great as I couldn’t smell the sick!

Did you test to see if you actually had covid and not a reaction to the vaccine?

SpiderFluff · 23/12/2021 08:33

My 2 x pfizer were fine. I had moderna and struggled with side effects 4 days later! So bad I had to do a pcr test!

makingmiracles · 23/12/2021 08:46

Yeah it is rubbish. I had flu symptoms after first az, 30hrs after started with chills and shivering, all my bones hurt, raging temp etc, lasted around 10hrs, swollen arm, like a tennis ball under the skin, swelling took 6wks to fully go and for 4 of those it was like a large grape lump under the skin. Second az just the sore arm but no swelling and felt so tired for 48hrs. Pfizer 24hrs later and flu symptoms exactly like the first az, painful bones, felt like I was going to pass out etc, lasted around 6hrs.

3days after booster woke with a massive sudden head cold and the following day tested pos for covid. Spent 4 days in bed ill, rest of isolation just with very heavy cold symptoms, only feel 100% now 5 weeks later, breathlessness and chest tightness gone and ear unblocked.

I will continue having boosters if offered but will make sure I am not due to work for 48hrs after!
