Booster vaccine eligibility- all original group 6??

Can I please ask, does anyone know if the booster vaccine is being given to all original group 6 people? Or only to over 50s and those with severe health conditions? I have underlying health conditions that put me in the original group 6 but I don’t have a severe health condition (immune compromised / diabetes etc.)

Not sure whether I’m expecting to hear or not? Will be 6 months since 2nd vaccine this week.

Has anyone else in group 6 had the booster out of interest? Thanks

Yes groups 1-9 will get the booster.

I'm group 6, 36 and got my booster on Saturday. I tried booking last week but it said it hadn't been long enough since my last dose. I got a text when I was able to book.

News this morning is that you can now turn up to a walk-in centre and get a booster. Check the sites on NHS - my local one is saying boosters in the afternoon only - but no booking required! As long as you're eligible you'll get it.

Thanks both, I wasn’t clear, I’ll try to book towards end of the week and see what happens.

The asthma nurse told me that the booster would be offered to everyone on the flu jab list (ie a wider group than the original group 6).
