Anyone triple vaccinated and caught COVID?

I had my booster 16 days before getting my positive result. Most likely caught COVID from my DS who tested positive 4 days before me.

Just wondered if there is anyone else in a similar position and how you have been feeling? My symptoms started on Monday and I'm not feeling too bad - mainly just a headache, slight cough and feeling tired. Wondering if I'm likely to feel worse before I feel better or if it's likely to stay pretty much like this?

Yes I know someone who currently has Covid despite having recently had their booster. They’re pretty poorly in bed but would be hospitalised without the vaccine protection I’m sure xx

Yes my DH had similar timing of vacc and booster to you and recently had symptomatic and confirmed covid. It only affected him for a couple of days but he had loss of taste and smell, fatigue, cough and cold symptoms too.

There is another post in this section on the same subject, most people who have covid after booster say they seem to have mild symptoms with it.

Yes, I know someone and he has had very mild symptoms. In his 80s and without the vaccinations and booster, I think he would have been very unwell.
