Any remedies for covid sinus pain?

I've been fairly poorly with Covid and think I'm over the worst of it, but I am struggling with sinus pain. My nose is unbearably itchy but also has a burning sensation, and in between my eyebrows I have awful sinus pain. I've been taking paracetamol but it doesn't do much.

Is there anything else I can do to help relieve it?

I get painful sinuses every year in autumn. Keeping them warm has always helped me. If someone can bring you stuff from chemist, methylated crystals helped a little.

I get chronic sinusitis, though not had Covid.
Olbas oil in hot water, a Neti pot, a saline spray, the menthol crystals are good (and blow your head off in a good way!) Ibuprofen and/or decongestants, Sudafed, own brand ones etc.

Neurofen

I got some co-codemol from the pharmacy. Paracetamol & nurofen didn’t really touch it 😭 the codine did!

Also used Steminar Saline Spray a few times a day. Found that really good, really helps you blow all the crap out your nose/sinuses!

I get sinus pain and a few things that work for me are;

  1. Sneezing. I find this releases the pressure and gets congestion moving. I force myself to sneeze using tip of a tissue.

2)Sinus massage. I do this myself following a video I watched on utube.

3)Otravine nasal spray. It gives some relief.

4)Warm heat over the face. I use a heat bag warmed in the microwave.

5)Steamy shower. It really helps.

I've tried pain killers but for whatever reason they make no difference to my sinus pain. I hope you feel better soon, 8 know how horrible it can be.

I am just diagnosed with Covid (for the 2nd time) and it has gone straight to my sinuses.
My mouth and throat are constantly dry and sore but the headache....😳

I have all the previously mentioned ways of dealing with it but I am dreading a few days of this pain.

I hate Covid, I have damage to lungs, bladder and bowel from my first bout so I am Praying my double vaccine will protect me.

I hope you feel better soon.
