Constant smell of cigarette smoke

I caught covid at the end of August and along with it went my sense of smell. It took a while to come back but it's wrong, all I can smell is cigarette smoke. All. The. Time.

No one in my house smokes and we have no close neighbours who do either, it's making me feel sick. Has anyone else gone through this?

I agree with a PP about it being an odd disease. It's oddly comforting to know that others are going through it too and it's not in my imagination.

I quit smoking 8 years ago so to smell it all the time now is making me simultaneously want to throw up and buy a pack of cigarettes. 😬

@itsgettingwierd

Oh and the sudden fatigue occasionally. And it's severe fatigue and I lay down and go into a deep sleep for about 10 minutes as soon as I can. Before that I'm fighting to stay awake.
Yes this is what mine has been like.

I'm 100% sure its long covid issues ive had for over a year now the twitching legs settled down it was really bad daily for about 5 months. I even had a nerve conduction test in May because of it (not pleasant :( ) all came back normal. The twitching has now gone away but now and then I get the smell
