How long for test results currently?

Both dd's have symptoms and have had tests today. Dp and I both without symptoms also has a test as offered. There's usually a thread around with others sharing their wait times for results but I can't find one. This time we were told expect results within 72 hours, previously it was 48.

How long have you waited recently?

24 hours from tests taken yesterday morning. Both in SW and Norfolk areas. (All negative)

10 minutes after it is registered properly. If you don’t hear in 48 hours make sure you have the barcode to hand, ring 119 and make sure it’s registered. We waited 5 days for one that hadn’t been registered properly.

15 hours here. I am in Bradford. Tested 7.15 last night and had results back this morning.

Just under 24hrs tested at London walk in centre yesterday and received the results today

Posted mine yesterday afternoon and got results 24 hours later.

We had our tests at 11am and got results about 10 minutes ago, we are in Scotland.

About 15 hours both times we had tests last week

We are still waiting for DS’s results. He had a positive LFT on Saturday. PCR on Sunday morning and still no response on Wednesday now.

I had a positive LFT yesterday so we both went back to the test centre yesterday afternoon just in case his original test was lost.
I have heard that negative tests are quicker to report than positive.

Have you phoned them?

I posted ours on Monday, called today to ensure I’d registered them correctly. I had, just no result yet.
