Hi all, I have tested positive and had lots of plans cancelled like many others. At present I feel a bit rubbish and am in bed as I can't keep warm. I've decided to treat myself to a snuggly pair of pjs, maybe fleecy? I have been waking up in the middle of the night so cold I have been rubbing myself to get warm. Blankets on bed plus a extra towel. What can I do to keep warm? Where are the magic pjs? Help!!!

Blankets and blankets and blankets over the duvet.

Primark do fleecy ones that are not too thick, snuggly but don’t get boiling. Like a brushed cotton material.

Thank you, though as I can't get out I need an online store. I'll just look on Amazon.

I was supposed to have some delivered today by Sainsbury's on next day delivery and they haven't arrived so I'm v disappointed!

On day 6 of isolation so thinking the money I've saved on not going out and about can pay for them!

Bunnymummy2 · 25/10/2021 14:54

I was in TK Maxx today and they have some lovely fleecy pj's, also some with matching dressing gowns. I find them too warm personally. I like a big t shirt.

OddestSock · 25/10/2021 16:14

Next? They do next day delivery as standard

MoistTowelette · 25/10/2021 17:11

I got an Oodie for my birthday and it is amazing! Cheaper versions out there too. I think Next are doing something similar atm. Hope you feel better soon X

Wilma55 · 25/10/2021 17:14

Not what you asked but I find bed socks help. If my feet are warm, I'm warm.

An electric blanket will be your friend. LOVE mine.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 25/10/2021 17:28

Yep, you need an electric blanket.

Imagine stretching luxuriously and feeling nothing but luxurious warmth in every direction. It is just heavenly.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 25/10/2021 17:30

Although thinking about it, your feeling cold is due to a fever and virus, so paracetamol might be your best bet.

CheeseMaiden · 25/10/2021 17:40

Uniqlo do fleece lined jogging bottoms, they are amazing!

AlbertBridge · 25/10/2021 17:43

I second paracetamol! The feeling of being cold is probably an uncontrolled fever. Please take your temperature and keep doing paracetamol every 4 hours.

Treblebass · 26/10/2021 09:42

@TheYearOfSmallThings

Absolutely, and so economical too.

I would never go back Grin.

Ironmanrocks · 29/10/2021 12:39

Thanks all. Beginning to feel slightly more human...,I'm liking the electric blanket plan.....I'm always cold!!! Will also check out Uniqlo as I do like their stuff. X

I've just got Noctu pyjamas and they are lovely. Not fleecy, but fairly think cotton.

NadiaVulvokov · 29/10/2021 12:41

Marks and Spencer

Monsoon92 · 29/10/2021 12:54

Not tried them yet but I've heard good things about cyberjammies!

MrsHookey · 29/10/2021 13:34

Get a cheaper version of an oodie.
