I don't know if anyone remembers my threads around late aug/sept time?
Pretty ill, ended up in hospital a few times. Symptoms have continued and I got diagnosed with long Covid. Main ongoing symptoms of exhaustion, headaches, shakes, sickness, no taste or smell etc. Thought I was managing it to an extent and have retuned back to work (working from home) on reduced hours and then going back to ft next week and well the last 6h I haven't been able to get out of bed, feel like I've been crushed by a bus, coughing more and extremely sore throat. Done 3 lateral flows and they say negative. My throat is so sore I don't think I can do a PCR just yet as I can barely move. This has floored me, every bone in my body from my toes and fingers hurt and I feel so ill again.
This is exactly how I felt when I first got it and to think I could get as ill as the first time round has me in tears.
The only place I can be getting it is from the children. I WASH (well hubby has been doing it) everything and couldn't be more careful. However, the children (young ages) no matter how much hand washing etc must have picked it up and that's how I've got it again or it's something to do with the long Covid?? I have another long Covid clinic assessment next week although won't be able to attend in person so will try and call and see what they say.
I'm so fking fed up of it.. I just want my life back and not to feel so shit all of the time
sorry for the ramble and probably typos
