Just wondered if anyone who is double vaccinated with Moderna has subsequently tested positive for Covid? Just curious really as all the stats and data seem to be for Pfizer and AZ. And, if so, what symptoms were like?

I am double vaccinated with moderna and currently living with 2 positive people. I am doing LFT's daily, have no symptoms yet. Will keep you updated.

I hope the two in your household aren't feeling too unwell with it, and that you manage to avoid it. Also Moderna double vaccinated here hence my curiosity.

AFAIK one of the reasons they don’t include Moderna in the stats is because it was available so much later so it’s a smaller population that have had it and almost entirely people in their 30s and younger - the exact population you’d expect to have mild Covid anyway.

I’m mid 40s - 2 Moderna April and June - ds had delta with a positive test under a week after my second. Was definitely in close contact with him, car, cinema, didn’t make him isolate at home due to contact I’d already had. I didn’t get any symptoms 🤷‍♀️

Fully vaccinated with Moderna (May/June), early 30's, currently have COVID. I feel like crap but in a "must sleep 16 out of 24 hours" kind of way, not in a "I hope I don't end up in the hospital" kind of way.

Oh no, sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon.

Double jabbed with Moderna 4 others in house had covid early September but I didn't catch it and I definitely didn't isolate away from them and all shared bathroom etc. As far as I'm aware I haven't previously had covid?

I'm double jabbed with Moderna, late 40's - I caught covid 3 weeks after my second dose, but really didn't have any symptoms. My husband also caught it and was quite ill, he had AZ though..

All this anecdotal evidence tells you literally nothing though.

I also had Moderna and have been curious about this. It's really hard to find out much in the way of stats about it. I know that not that many people had Moderna here but I thought it was used quite a lot in other countries. Even actively searching for stats still seems to bring back mainly info about Pfizer (but it may be that I'm a bit rubbish at choosing my search terms)

I tested positive on Friday 1st October. Double vaxxed with Moderna, 44. I had an illness similar to a bad cold for a week, but the after effects are still with me. Extremely tired, headaches, night sweats and pins and needles in limbs. I’m taking comfort from threads I’ve read where most people are on the mend after 4 weeks.
