How long are home test results taking

I have continuously tested positive all week on LFT but negative on a PCR. After reading everyone else's issues, I booked a second PCR test to be delivered to my home on Friday, which I did and sent off at 3pm. It made it to the lab in Southampton just before midnight Friday.
I've only ever tested at a centre before and normally get results within 24 hours, so wondering how long it takes with home tests and if anyone else is also waiting or if you've already gotten results?
I'm keen to ensure if it is covid it is logged as such, I'm hoping to travel in the next few months. Also, I'm double jabbed and already had covid in Jan; so I would like to know for sure.

Thanks!

I posted my test on Friday in the morning, it arrived by Saturday morning, and I got the results at about 6 am today.

We posted ours Friday afternoon and received texts with results on Saturday afternoon. I was amazed at how quick it was.

Thanks. I'm wondering if I should book one at the walk in centre tomorrow morning - my concern is that I first tested positive last Monday, so tomorrow is already day 8 and I really do want it formally recorded if it is covid (or a decent explanation for seven positive LFT if not) as I am hoping to travel in the next 90 days.
I don't know if it would cause a problem to book a walk in one before these results are back, but if I wait for tomorrow evening for them to trace it, I won't get retested until day 9 if it's missing, unreadable or negative and there is no other explanation for continuous LFT positives other than covid really.

if you have a positive lfd take it as positive and isolate, especially as problems with testing ATM, but I know this is a problem legally without a positive Pcr.

Luckily I can WFH so have been isolating pretty much since the first one because I didn't trust the PCR. My issue is travel - if I flag a positive test in a month, I can't prove I had covid now and it's a residual positive without it being recorded from a PCR test. It's a very frustrating situation!
Also, I think it's important to be sure, because it's my second bout in a year after being double jabbed, so I would like that to also be recorded in case I have complications at any point in the future.

It is absolutely logged like anywhere else on the system. Just because its a home test makes no difference.

Posted Tuesday lunch time, results 10.30pm Wednesday
