Feeling anxious - any reassurance

I’ve just done one of the new lateral tests that are just up the nose on the whole family. Mine is the only one showing a line which is quite faint but definitely there. I have an autoimmune condition and was in the shielding category although I was on a low dose of meds and my consultant wasn’t overly concerned about me at the time. I’ve actually not had to take my meds (which lower my immune system) for around 3 months as I’ve been feeling good. I’ve always been scared of catching covid though because of taking the meds up until recently. I don’t know if my body will now be like a non suppressed persons as I haven’t taken them for a few months or not. I just feel really anxious this morning. I haven’t yet had my booster or my flu jab. I also haven’t really been anywhere this week as my car is off the road.

DH has been really ill last weekend with cough & cold but had a negative pcr. I was convinced he had but all his tests were negative.

I know no-one can say anything to change things but all the family have gone out & I’m sitting here with my heart racing with anxiety. I will do another test now using the old style nose & throat.

I'd go for a PCR rather than doing another LFT

Ok thank you I’ll book that now
