DS has a cough but had Covid

We all had Covid in late August. He’s got a cough and a runny nose. NHS told us we can’t do a PCR test for 90 days after our positive test. What do we do if school wants him tested due to the cough?

I'd ask them

We had the same problem. Ds just took the pcr test and it was luckily negative.

You can do a test within 90 days with new symptoms.
However it may still show positive from previous infection.
