Wobble about kids vaccination

I didn’t consent to the vaccine for my children as I felt rushed to make a decision, I’m still unsure but now it’s too late to get it this round. My child said about 2/3 of their class took the vaccine. Now I’m worried that I’m just going to increase my child’s chance of getting it. I’m sure at least one of my kids has had it despite testing negative (all classic symptoms). I’m so worried about the myocarditis and haven’t researched that enough. Also how long would the efficacy of one jab last? I saw somewhere six months? So would only carry them through this winter. They have had the flu spray. I feel so torn between what my heart says and the pressure that I should vax them for the greater good. Please help me with some balanced evidence about this. Where can I get reliable information?

From your doctor.

However, an absolute fact is that the rare risk of myocarditis is higher from Covid than from the vaccine. In both cases it's unlikely to cause major problems.

My ds 12 is getting the jab today at school.
I am an anxious mess, worrying I have made the wrong decision and terrified he will be one of the few who have heart issues.
I can't wait to see him at 3pm.
I am trying to look at it like how would I feel if I didn't consent to him having this vaccine and he ended up poorly with coronavirus and myocarditis anyway.
This way I feel I'm being proactive in trying to keep him safe.

I've just been looking and googling the pros and cons op. No particular site.
