How long are home tests taking to be delivered and how long are results taking at the moment?

We ordered a PCR for me and DS1 last night.

Mine came through too about 1130pm last night. About 7 hour difference from receiving email to text though???

Ours were the same when they came through, email came at night and text the next morning

Ordered Tuesday evening. Arrived and posted yesterday. Hoping for result soon.

nowmum very strange, system must be set up so it can't send text between certain hours is the only reason i can think of. Ds email and text came through within minutes of eachother.

Ordered Sun eve. Delivered Wed morning but missing swab. Ordered again Wed afternoon. Delivered Fri morning. Posted back Fri afternoon. Results Wed morning.

I posted mine 7:30am Tuesday I've had no text or email. DP did one through work the same day and he's not had results either still.

I suspect going to a test site would of been much quicker! Been almost three days and from past experience that normally means it's lost.

@HundredMilesAnHour and @frenchiemummy92 not good. I am starting to panic now as tracking showing as received Wednesday night but only contact is a reminder to complete test.

@Backofbeyond50 I didn't take note of the tracking stupidly and I've misplaced the number you need when you ring up for results 😡🙄.

But still so far nothing.

Posted mine and son's on Wednesday afternoon. Checked my tracking number and it had arrived around 2am Thursday morning. This morning I have woken up to son's negative result. But still nothing for me. Getting so frustrated with waiting.

Yep it is definitely frustrating.

@Backofbeyond50 it really is. I've now had 15 positive flowflex, faint positives but you can see them! A negative PCR but now waiting on this PCR and I was the only one getting positives in the house, now DD2 is this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️. You'd think it'd be quick to get them

Blimey. That is awful for you all. Hope your dd2 is OK too.
I fully expect mine to be negative as all my lF were and a cough unfortunately could just be a cold/asthma but it was more severe than normal so I had to be sure.

So, I had my text message before my email about an hour ago and my pcr has come back positive, which is kinda what I expected and I wonder if that's why my results took longer than my son's.

@Definitelytheothersideof40 when did you post again? I've now got DD1 at home needing a pcr before she can return to school

@frenchiemummy92 I posted ours back Wednesday afternoon. Son's negative result came overnight, took til 1pm ish for my positive result to drop in.

Finally got my result.

@Backofbeyond50 that's good, my results still haven't turned up. Dps haven't either and Both DDs have needed a PCR this morning

Hi did you get your results back? I'm also in the same boat 10 plus positive LFTs and waiting in a second PCR as the first was Negative!
