Taste and smell! How long before they come back?

I'm on day 6 of covid. Feeling much better overall but realised this morning that I can't smell anything at all. This is new, my senses were absolutely fine yesterday.

I can taste, but stuff tastes different - I normally love a good cup of coffee for example, but I had to pour it down the sink this morning because it tasted so awful.

This is a tragedy for someone who usually enjoys their food!! Can anyone tell me how long it's likely to last?!

My sense of smell / taste disappeared over the course of the afternoon on Day 7. Fortunately only it was only a few days before they came back steadily over the course of about a week. A month on and everything is pretty much back to normal, except I can no longer taste chocolate digestives. Other chocolate is generally fine though.
