Covid jab for teenagers

Has anyone's child had this yet ? DS is having this on Thursday and I'm wondering if he will feel unwell afterwards? I was in bed the day after my first jab

It really depends. DD was fine after her first, but had a temperature for 2 days after her second.

DS had his last week. He had a sore arm straight after the injection that lasted for about 24 hours, then he felt fine. He didn’t have any other aches or fever or any other problems.

He was a bit tired the day after which might have been connected, but otherwise said he felt fine and managed a day at school with no problems.

I know everybody’s different though so I don’t know how much help that is! If your DS has to cycle to school or do anything using his arms a lot the next day, it might be best to be prepared for not being able to do that. I hope it all goes well for him ( for you, not him! )

My ds had his on Sunday afternoon. He has had a slightly sore arm but nothing else so far

Ds (13) had a sore arm, but that’s it.

Another frustrating PR stunt from the government, very slow rollout for the 12-15 group.

My sons just had his today, hes had the Pfizer, both myself and dh had Pfizer too and neither of us had any side affects so hopefully he wont either.

DS had his and he was absolutely fine.

Dd was fine. Not even a sore arm.

Ours had last Monday slight sore arm but if anything it seems to have genetically modified him for the better!

Our school did theirs today so will see how many kids are off school tomorrow. I can’t imagine it will be many.

My 15yr old son had his a few weeks ago. Absolutely fine slightly stiff arm the next day as with any other injection but no side effects.
