Unless you have Covid you're surely not required to self isolate now?

It looks legit. It's the exempt bit that's important so if you've had both jabs you don't need to isolate. if you haven't then you do

@TheLovelinessOfDemons if you are fully vaccinated (post 14 days) or under 18 then there is no longer a legal requirement to isolate as a contact unless you have symptoms yourself

I think its legitimate.

They've said you need to isolate unless you're exempt. That's the same as what I got when I tested positive.
If you dont respond they will start ringing you

I've been nowhere that I've needed to check into, so is the info coming from the NHS app and Covid app?

DS sits two chairs away from someone with it at school but doesn't have to self isolate or do more than usual lateral flow. This is crazy!

It's not from the app. Someone has given your details to test and trace and they have contacted you directly.

As @dementedpixie said some one has named you as a close contact from previous 48 hours before they tested positive/got symptoms

How far do they ask you to go back? It's either the app (had Bluetooth on) from very short trips for takeaway coffee, supermarket. Or someone at Test and Trace has put me in instead of one of the kids.

Doesn't make sense, been through my diary and checked with the necessary people, unless someone is not being truthful, which would be ridiculous.

When you register & get to the end it will tell you when you have to "isolate" until. That way you can work out what date it was.

I’ve had this tonight too. Both my DDs tested negative.

The app advised the whole household to isolate when I ordered a PCR for DS3. But is that a legal requirement?

It’s only a legal requirement for those over the age of 18 who are not doubly vaccinated.
