Has your 16 year old had a second dose? The nhs website says they're not eligible but I know a lot that have had 2 doses.

As far as I'm aware 16-17 yr olds with an underlying health condition will be offered a second dose, those without won't be.

It’s only those who are at risk who should be getting a second dose.

Healthy 16 year olds won’t be getting second doses now.

I was told to book my DS a second dose by our GP surgery so he's having it in mid-October. I was able to book it on the NHS website with his NHS number/DOB. He has Long Covid/chronic fatigue and it's hoped that it will help ease symptoms.

To confuse things even further my daughter was told to book her second dose 8 weeks after her first by the staff at the walk in centre. They knew she was only 16.

DS's is just 8 weeks after his first. Did you put your DD's NHS number in the website? Maybe DS is flagged as needing it?

They must have been confused unless she’s got health issues.

My 16 year old has as she lives with me. I am immunosuppressed. I don't think 16 year olds normally get two.
