I know this has been done to death, but could you take a look at this please.

My dd has had a positive LFT and PCR on Monday and I also had a PCR on Monday, but mine came back negative. I've been feeling a bit like I've got very mild flu over the past few days so I thought I'd take another LFT. Do I need to do another PCR?

Yes. Definitely.

I had one like that on Saturday. Confirmed by pcr done later that day.

Hope you don't suffer too much with it.

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 23/09/2021 12:33

That's positive.

Bobholll · 23/09/2021 12:34

Obviously positive .. how can you be doubting that line?!

BungleandGeorge · 23/09/2021 12:37

Yes it’s positive. Regardless if that if you have symptoms and have been a contact you should always take a PCR test. LFTs are only for asymptomatic screening and only pick up about 50% of positives.

Verite1 · 23/09/2021 13:56

Normally I can never see the lines even when everyone else can. But that is definitely positive

mamaduckbone · 23/09/2021 14:04

Definitely

GhoulWithADragonTattoo · 23/09/2021 14:54

I had one very similar today and I’ve requested PCR tests.

Rosesareyellow · 23/09/2021 15:19

Of course you need to get a PCR.
