I have just finished my 10 days isolation following a positive PCR test.
I have felt quite poorly with covid and although starting to feel better I am still very exhausted with a cough. I work part time in a job supporting students who have learning disabilities which involves a lot of physical work. I don't feel ready to go back but will it look like I'm taking too much time off? I wondered how long others have had off?

I also have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia) after Covid, no previous medical conditions. Also ended up in A&E, HR was over 200bpm. Much better now, but it is not easy being on your feet as it sends your HR soaring. I have to wear compression tights otherwise I am likely to faint if standing for long periods.

Stasiland I hope the beta blockers are helping xx

I went back to my job after the isolation period ended- I was nowhere near 100% and to be honest it was hard. I am still very tired and not feeling 100% at all but I was worried about taking any more time off.
