Changes in period after vaccine

I have have both my doses of the Covid vaccine (Pfizer) and since just the first one I have only had one period!

All my life (well since I started my periods) they have always been super regular like clockwork.

I was 75 days late after having the first dose. Then had a normal period. Currently 37 days late. No chance of pregnancy either.

Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else?

So AF arrived this morning! Heavy and more painful 😣
According to my flo app my last two cycles were 75 and 70 days long.
Think I'll cuddle up with a hot water bottle today. Not gonna lie, I'm so glad to see my period right now lol

Hope everyone is ok

Regular period, after first vaccine missed a complete period. Period returned then second vaccine missed another complete period.

Fine since but really annoyed me when a male doctor on the BBC said the vaccine could not interfere with period cycles after other women had reported issues and made out it was all in our minds that I went online and reported it via the yellow card. So happy I did because whilst it wasn't an issue personally for me it shouldn't have been dismissed so flippantly.

Im now 90 plus days late after my vaccine….

I’d not had a period for years due to my pill.

First jab fine. Second jab I’m now having weird periods every month. They start in the morning bright red, stop by bed time and then back again in the morning. For four days.

Mine have been irregular since 2nd Pfizer dose. Sometimes really long cycles, sometimes short. Am usually like clockwork. Reported it via yellow card scheme.

Sons gf is now a month late after 2nd Pfizer. Even did pg tests just in case but they haven't seen each other since early August anyway.( LDR). She's only 23. Quite worrying as this could be affecting a whole generation's fertility.

After second Pfizer had no period for 2 months but last two periods have now been back to normal in terms of length and heaviness.

No problems after the first vaccine or after COVID infection last year. Guess age no hormones could lao be a factor.

I commented on the 17th saying I'd had 3 episodes of bleeding where I normally have no periods at all. First being the day after my first AZ. Am now bleeding again!

I started getting a bonus period after every other period after my first vaccine in December. (Week on, week off, week on, 3w off, and repeat). Which lasted until early August when I had 7 weeks off. After my booster last week I got a second bonus one, 2 days after my previous one. It feels totally random now. With 7we off I confess I was hoping I'd sailed straight into menopause with no symptoms and was beginning to count down the next 45w....

So what are women who are about to start the Mini Pill supposed to do as its supposed to be started on the first day of your period.

I assume you'd start it anyway then use an extra birth control method such as condoms for the first month to give it time to be effective.

I’m 41 and my cycle went from regular as clockwork 28 days to regular as clockwork 24 days following AZ. I also had some weird emotional and fatigue symptoms at different stages in cycle which repeated each month. I have started taking starflower oil supplement and my cycle has returned to 28 days and the other symptoms improved.

Impossible to know if the supplement helped but it appeared to, in case helpful for anyone else.

My period is usually a week or so late. I have thyroid issue so my hormones are all over the show, it’s been like that since I started aged 14, the period after my first vaccine in March came bang on time and has done since. Not sure if it’s a conincidence but I’ll take it...
