I wish Twitter wars would stop becoming news.

I don't agree with her about the vaccine at all but I have to laugh at her sense of humour and if Piers Morgan hates her that is a point in her favour.

I think what she said can easily be interrupted as antivax. She seems to be covid vac reluctant which I suspect a lot of celebs r but are unwilling to openly say? Just a few thoughts

Shes a charmer. She's being sued for attempting to intimidate the victim of her husband into not giving evidence in the attempted rape case (of which he was convicted), so we're not talking a person of great conscience. She has a huge following and it's so irresponsible to make these claims that are totally untrue. She's an anti vaxxer and I guess it's her right to tell people that, even to try and persuade people not to have it. But to make false claims because you have nothing to back your argument is so wrong. How would we feel if she said chemotherapy shouldn't be used, and children started to refuse treatment for cancer? Would it be funny then, I wonder?

She sounds a bit thick. She's probably confused the vaccine with actual Covid.

I found it all SO bizarre but highly amusing. My understanding of the timeline is:

Nicki tweets that her cousin's friend's testicles swelled after the vaccine, rendering him infertile and resulting in the cancellation of his upcoming wedding.

Prof Whitty is asked about this at the press conference. States it is highly irresponsible. Boris chips in by signposting to a Dr Nikki who is promoting the vaccine. (I thought Boris' response was very witty, excuse the pun, despite being very anti-Boris).

Nicki sends Boris an audio note, in a fake British accent, pretending she went to school with Margaret Thatcher. Claims to love Boris.

Laura K, Political Editor from the BBC, retweets. Nicki calls her 'dumbo'.

Piers weighs in (because, of course he does). Nicki repeatedly and seemingly accidentally calls him Pierce. Brilliant! An actual Dr Pierce then responds to her tweets.

It really made me giggle this evening. I definitely think Nicki will incentivise more and not less people to have the jab... because, well, she doesn't make refusers look good!

Of all the things I foresaw for 2021, Nicki Minaj trolling the British establishment was not one of them.

What a muppet. Her comments about "British" people and the "British accent" might not go down very well with some of her "British" fans.

And I don't like Boris, but his response to the question was spot on! I loved it.

That's one of the funny things about it. Chris Whitty and Boris didn't really know her and the fact it turns out Piers Morgan has a grudge against her for snubbing him 10 years ago.

Was very funny and Boris answer was almost a parody of himself. Poor Chris Whitty though , a Twitter war with Nicky minaji is the absolute last thing he ever wants to get involved in ( although hopefully he can see the funny side too) Boris of course is no doubt loving it.
I also liked the response to Laura kuensberg.

I thought her British accent was good! She’s been watching the crown I bet.
