DS was a close contact in school on the 3rd and the 6th.

He had 2 pcrs in that time which came back negative but is really sick.

Hes had stomach pains and headache since the 7th. Headache is v unusual for him.

Today, he woke up and has sore throat, nose, ears, head and stomach pain worse than usual.
Just did a home test which came back negative.
Hes really struggling today.

Could he still have covid despite the negative tests?

He doesnt have a runny nose so doesnt seem like a normal cold.

He could have tested too early.

Maybe do another PCR if he now has symptoms. LFT isn't accurate enough to rule out covid as it can give a lot of false negatives
