SkyeJ90 · 13/09/2021 23:00

Tested Friday at 3.30pm and receive results on Saturday at 11am. I’d guess you’d be more likely to get them tomorrow.

TheNemesisOfLame · 13/09/2021 23:16

Tested yesterday just before midday. Results by 1 am...

Underpaidsnackbitch · 13/09/2021 23:18

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 13/09/2021 23:22

DD tested 4.30 Sunday, result about 11 am Monday. But DH said they were the only ones there so if it's busier who knows?

What's the bloody obsession with this on this forum? It can take up to 72 hours, ring 119 if it's been longer.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 13/09/2021 23:26

Because it's a bit stressful waiting for results?

WhenZoomWasJustAnIceLolly · 13/09/2021 23:33

Two of us tested at 10.30an today. We got one result back at 8pm and not got the other yet.

whenwillthemadnessend · 14/09/2021 07:54

21 hours for us this week. North West.

Runningforcakes · 15/09/2021 19:05

We went to a drive through at 10am yesterday and still waiting now 33 hours later. Getting quite impatient now!

People ask because this forum is a great source of information and there are many Mnetters who have recently gone through the same @

Because as soon as you get your result if it's negative you can get on with your plans, kids go to school etc. It's annoying when they come in just that bit too late to send people to childcare etc.

And that's just the stress of it and it being negative . There's also the "shit what if its positive" stress

Runningforcakes · 15/09/2021 21:26

I do feel like we’ve been shafted for doing the right thing in testing (or maybe it was the wrong thing as only 1dc had cough, other only had sore throat) because now they are both loads better and have missed another day of school which wouldn’t have happened if we hadn’t tested and just assumed it was a cold (which I’m pretty sure it is)
Still waiting

Bobholll · 15/09/2021 21:30

I sent my postal one back at 9am yesterday. Still waiting 🙄 it was delivered at the lab at 3pm yesterday, I tracked it. It’s frustrating as drive throughs here are taking 12-16 hours but my nearest one is 40 minutes away & I didn’t have time to do that long a round trip! Never mind if I actually felt ill.. Postal is rubbish.

CornedBeef451 · 15/09/2021 21:35

Ours have been 24 to 27 hours after the test at a drive through centre. Pretty quick really.

Wole · 15/09/2021 21:35

With the postal ones if you somehow find yourself with one spare you can just register that one in case this helps anyone. DH and I both ordered one for our LO once so we used the spare and saved a day on waiting for it to be posted to us.

Bobholll · 16/09/2021 06:52

Still no postal results 🙄🙄 Ive got a really important doctors appointment today as well, I’ve never waited more than 36 hours 😒

Runningforcakes · 16/09/2021 16:51

Ours came (negative) this morning after 48 hours

Lunificent · 16/09/2021 19:23

Do you have to book all drive throughs, or could you just turn up?

How do you track them? Sorry might be silly question. Sent my daughters back yesterday lunch time but need result before she can go back to school. She has mufti day tomorrow and is already crying that she can't go because the results haven't arrived. She had a temp but is absolutely fine now.
Wole · 16/09/2021 20:25

You can use the royal mail barcode on the track and trace website.

Wole · 16/09/2021 20:25

It only confirms it's got to the lab though not where it is on its processing journey
