Docs for travel UK to Spain

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone knows if you need a digital copy of your NHS vaccine passport that you have to upload when filling in the passenger locator form equivalent for entry into Spain? A relative is travelling next week and has a paper copy with proof of their NHS vaccination status but isn't sure how/if it's possible to obtain a PDF of it. Does anyone know how to do that?

You don’t need a digital copy. The paper version is fine. What is important is the QR code that is generated by the passenger locator form. The form asks for details of when you had your vaccine etc and date of last dose. When we arrived in Spain they just wanted to see the QR code to scan
