9 days ago I started with a cough, slight temp and generally feeling unwell.

I went for a PCR test which was negative.

Several people on here had suggested I may have tested too early.

4 days later I decided to have another PCR, this was also negative.

I’ve also been getting negative lateral flows.

So, I know it’s not Covid, but I have Covid symptoms and I feel awful.

9 days later and I still cannot smell or taste anything. I still have a blocked nose, cough is awful and I’m more exhausted than I have ever felt before.

I have woken up this morning feeling really shaky 😩

I went to the Drs this week as my cough was hurting my chest, I suffer with chest infections so I wanted to get checked out.

I was told my chest was clear and it was just viral which would clear up.

When, when will it clear up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just cannot believe how unwell I still feel.

If this is a cold then it’s the worst one I’ve had.

Sorry this isn’t really Covid related.

So sorry you feel so unwell!
My OH is also testing frantically and continuouslh.
Has a head cold and cough and feels rough.
Keeps being negative
And considering my eldest daughter is currently in the flat isolating it seems unreal that he's not positive...

Other illness exists. And they can make you feel pretty shoddy.

The lack of taste & smell is odd though. With covid, it goes absolutely & completely. No blocked nose. It’s bizarre. Is yours like that? Or can you still taste a big & smell a bit but it’s muted cos of a really blocked nose?

I had this is august and it took about 5 weeks for it to clear up.
