Does anyone know what the testing requirements are for flights within the UK please?

I am resident in Wales, but need to drive to an airport in England and from there fly to Scotland for an overnight work trip, and cannot find anywhere information as to whether I need to do a test before I will be allowed to fly! So much info out there but nothing that clearly states what is required. Can anyone help please?

Might be worth looking on the airlines website.

We’re in the same situation as were flying to Belfast in a few weeks. The easyJet website says there are no domestic travel requirements other than wearing a mask.

There are no testing requirements for travel within the UK common travel area no matter how you're travelling. Exception being if you're travelling to an offshore island (IOM, Channel Islands etc) that have their own rules.

Even when travelling abroad it's not the airlines themselves that require the tests, it's the country you're travelling to. The airlines are just required to check you have it before they let you board.

None. I flew from Ireland to Scotland a few months ago and I wasn't asked for proof of tests, vaccination or anything. Other than masks on the plane, it was all very 'normal'.

There are no testing requirements within the UK. However it is still a legal requirement to wear a mask indoors in scotland.

There are no testing requirements to fly. The testing requirements are about entry in to the country - so if you're flying within the UK there won't be any requirements as its no different to going on a train or a bus.

There’s no legal requirement to test, but obviously individual airlines can set their own requirements for their passengers. You are best to check on the website of the airline you are using what they are asking passengers to do.
