Can’t sleep - anxiously waiting for results.

Had test 3pm Friday, and still haven’t had results.

Don’t think I’ve ever waited this long, the anxiety of waiting is the worst.

I’ve got a really blocked snotty nose, a dry tickly throat(which makes me cough) and a slightly raised temp (37.4)

I hope I don’t have to wait too much longer. 😫

It will come when it will come. If you are at all unwell sleep will help.

Have you done an lft?

@AntiHop

Have you done an lft?
Yes I did one yesterday and one today. Both are negative. I haven’t paid too much attention to them to be honest…. I’ve read various threads on here of people who have had negative LFTs but positive PCRs.

Can only suggest you behave as if you have it, behave safely, take care of yourself , keep your temperature down with paracetamol and ibuprofen, drink lots of fluids and rest. If you have an O2 meter then use it but in the short term what difference will a test result actually make?

Toria84 · 05/09/2021 00:40

@balzamico

I don’t have an o2 meter. Do I need one?

I did take some paracetamols earlier.

DS said 37.4 isn’t a raised temp, but my temp is usually around 37.1 so I feel 37.4 is raised for me.. if that makes sense.
