Chances of double vax passing c19 to another double vax

Before I start I want people to be nice to me!
I know there's more than covid making it's rounds.

We meet up with a friend today outside for a walk. Friend turned up with child both full of 'head cold' we asked if friend is sure is not covid but convinced its just a cold as the lateral flows are coming back negative. Friend hasn't done a pcr test.
I know other people who have tested negative with lateral flows and tested positive.

So we are all double vaxx apart from the children. We were outside trying to stay away much as possible without friend noticing.
I do have anxiety over covid for reasons I won't go into.

If it is covid, what's the chances of the double vaxx passing it onto us also double vaccinated?

Not quite the same but double vaxxed friend caught it and passed on to double vaxxed husband
I would have thought that outside chances of passing on would be less
I think we all need to try and move on from being really anxious everytime we hear someone sniffle or sneeze. It could be covid, but in all probability is more likely to be “just” a cold.

It’s an understandable concern. Outside is safer and less likely to spread infection than inside but if it was Covid yes they could pass it on even with vaccination. If you did get it though off then you likely would not get very ill. Perhaps not even symptomatic at all. My friends children had it and none had more than a runny nose as symptoms. She checked it purely because there was a high risk person at home and she was worried. You can’t really tell without the pcr testing but to be fair if someone is smothering with a head cold it’s perfectly acceptable to keep your distance! I did pre pandemic the last thing I want is a stuffy head on me and sore throat that can be avoided😂

My fully vaccinated daughter caught it from a fully vaccinated coworker, and it was the second time my daughter has had covid after getting it last September.

It was on the news the other night that having the vaccine doesn't stop transmission anymore than not having it.

Someone I work with (double vaxxed) caught Covid. She passed it onto me (single vaxxed) and another colleague (double vaxxed). I don't think vaccines actually reduce transmission that much, just the severity of symptoms.

The fact that you were outdoors is in your favour though.
