Will I be asked to vaccinate my young children?

I have a 2year old and a 4year old, we're both double jabbed and I don't have any issues with being vaccinated at all, but I feel (perhaps unreasonably?) very strongly against having my small children vaccinated. I don't know why, I don't know if it's ever going to be a requirement to have them vaccinated? Any thoughts or opinions?

If you are so scared of vaccinating children, you would have followed or find out details about vaccinating children, which in UK, it's just been offered to 12+ and only 1 dose and not compulsory.. Vaccinating toddlers won't be happening soon, it's not even approved yet.
Is this another one of those thread that intended to make the parents panic?

@Sylvia18

They are doing trails on under 5s now. It will come. And I would never EVER vaccinate my children, ever.
Very strong statement to make. No one knows what tomorrow will bring and your now healthy child could end up in a situation at any point where they are then extremely vulnerable to covid and I'm pretty sure at that point your "never EVER" would change very rapidly.

Can I resurrect this thread and ask what peoples thoughts/feelings are now?

I am still really not comfortable with getting my two young children vaccinated.

I’m not sure why you think there would be different answers now to the ones you got originally. There still isn’t the option to vaccinate children as young as yours and it’s not mandatory for any other age group, only in certain occupations.

Is this just a delibarete anti-vax nonsense thread?

Given it is not licensed for

Literally everyone on this list making the OP out to be a scaremonger.
They are already jabbing 5-12’s in some countries and it’s very obvious to see this will soon be rolled out to younger kids when approved.

@Silverswirl

Why encourage anxiety?

The vaccine isn't mandated for anyone in the UK, alone for certain occupations. For 12-15 year olds it is an offer, of which the CMO has said is not a clear cut decision and people should respect other's choices.

It hasn't even been offered to 5-11 year olds yet.
