How long after being with a positive case did you show symptoms?

I've just heard from a friend that she's had a bad tummy bug for quite a while and feeling poorly and she's been advised to get tested. I saw her 8 days ago and I'm starting to stress just in case she comes back positive .. (silly I know ) as I would be at the end of my time 8 days later but should I be pcr testing if she's positive as I've heard it could potentially take 14 days.. just wondered if I'm a risk ?. I do the lft twice a week for my job .

Mine was about 4 days later. No harm in you getting a PCR if you're concerned. I'd wait until she gets the results.

Dd had contact on the Monday & tested positive the following Saturday.

We found out that DH must have had it (via a pre OP blood test). I went and had a blood test to be sure and - nothing.
