In the Glasgow area, dont know about anywhere else, but all wards closed to visitors except for end of life patients.

It's fucking hilarious reading all the greeting about OP not mentioning Glasgow in the title, when almost every other thread on this board neglects to realise that England isn't the centre of the fucking world.

@DumplingsAndStew agree about recognition that the UK is four nations and not all Covid policies are the same.

I'd be supportive of restricting hospital visitors except perhaps for end of life visits.

I am in Glasgow. Healthcare has never reopened properly so i'm hardly surprised.

DH had to attend A&E on Friday - I wasn't allowed in with him. My mum is going for a routine eye appointment in Falkirk next week, I'm not allowed in with her either.

It's utter shite for people stuck in hospital though, climbing the walls with no people visiting.

It means people have no advocates, and everyone when in hospital are vulnerable as they are distressed and not in control of the situation

Plus no one to fill in the gaps in medical history when a patient is confused or forgetful. That's potentially very dangerous.
