Went down with covid 3 weeks ago, I'm recovered aoart from the fact that my sleep pattern is totally disrupted, i can't sleep for more than about 4 hours without waking up. I can get back to sleep eventually but I've not had a full nights sleep in over 3 weeks and it's taking its toll now. Has anybody else had this

Yes, I have Long Covid, insomnia is one of the recurring symptoms. No idea what causes this but it could be autonomic nervous system related.

Yes, I am struggling with this and I react very badly physically to having no sleep.

I'm also suffering with aching leg muscles, my thigh muscles literally feel like I did a 20 mile hike yesterday. I'm in a job where I am on my feet all day and I keep having to take a break to sit down

As above insomnia is a long covid. I had insomnia for about three months post my second covid vaccine. I discovered talking n acetyl cysteine supplement before bed really helped.

I know someone with long COVID who has this - it's been about 8 months and he's getting back to normal now.

Wondering if there's anything wrong with me now though, as I don't think I've ever slept for more than three hours at a time!

My concern is that I have suffered from anxiety and depression in the past and I know both are closely linked to my sleep, I'm worried that if I don't start getting enough sleep they will come back.
