Anyone had nosebleeds as a symptom?

I tested positive for Covid a week ago, 8yo DS was negative and has had zero symptoms but last night he randomly had a nosebleed, he's never had one in his life before and then another one this morning! Anyone had that as a symptom?

Not as a symptom, but my son started to get nose bleeds a few hours after testing. Could that be a possibility?

Could it be from testing? Maybe dislodged a scab or something! Hope you feel better soon x

Thanks. I did a test on him on Thursday but didn't get the swab very far in as he kept flinching!

Yes I have never had nosebleed in my life and had 3 when I had Covid. I am mid forties.

My son also 8 had 2 random.nosebleeds on thursday, quite heavy and I assumed he'd stuck his finger up there . Then yesterday he slept for about five hours in the day which he never ever does, he's on melatonin to sleep at night because of his asd. No temp or cough but he's very grumpy today. I wonder if I should test him, although he probably won't let me, he won't even get the flu nasal spray

I wouldn't have given it a second thought if I didn't currently have Covid myself. I struggle to test him too, he's fine with the throat swab but can't bear the nose.

Yes, I know a couple of younger people who had unexpected nosebleeds and went on to test positive.
