Covid & Hair Loss?

I recently recovered from Covid a month ago and I keep hearing that Covid leads to hair loss, I just wondered if anyone experienced it 3/4 months post Covid?

I'm scared it will happen and I really can't handle it after losing so much hair post partum! It was just all growing back and I don't want to loss it again

Trinny Woodall had Covid and experienced hair loss - some of her videos talk about the products/supplements she has used to try and regenerate the hair again

Thanks I'll have a look, I already take lots of supplements for hair growth including iron so I'm hoping the loss will be minimal

I had covid in April - really unwell for two weeks - then in June I had really bad hair loss, and I mean masses of it coming away when I washed it or brushed it. Hair would just fall out all over the house - it was quite scary. It slowed down a month ago and now has completely stopped. I found massaging my scalp with one of those hair massagers really helped.

I had COVID last March (couldn’t get a test though) my hair started coming out about 6-8 weeks later, especially noticeable when washing. I remember almost crying as it came out in the bath. Hairdresser, 6 months later could see where I’d lost it but that it was coming back in. I took biotin and vitamin supplements to help regrowth, used kerastase resistance shampoo and conditioner and stopped straightening my hair.
I’m not sure how much it helped, but my hair has recovered body.
