Health Anxiety and Covid

So myself and partner tested positive for Covid a few days ago. Both feeling pretty rotten, coughs, tight chest, struggling to 'clear' chest. Breathing okay but tight and have spent 3 days in bed. Have thought all along however that it could be a lot worse.

I have health anxiety and am driving myself mad today with the fear that I'm going to get worse and end up in hospital.

Am I likely to get loads worse at this stage? Anyone any experience to share?

Mid 30s, single jabbed but only the week before so likely hasn't made any difference :-( I'm so scared.

Hope you get well soon. Try not to worry. Drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest! My brother and sister both caught Covid. My sister was single vaxxd and felt rough but my brother wasn’t vaxxd and was worse than her. Both recovered though in about 2 weeks. Hopefully you will too.

I made a dramatic improvement day 5. I felt how you described before this point. Keep pushing through

Thank you both. Trying to keep thinking rationally and that we will start to get better soon.

Helpful to hear a rough idea of the timeline of others... an improvement on day 5 would be great!!
