Sense of taste and smell

I’m on day 10 of Covid - fully jabbed. Please can someone give me some good news about when my sense of taste and smell will return?? TIA

I was going to start this exact threat. I got my positive result today, tested Friday, came down with symptoms Wednesday.

I didn't realise I'd lost my sense of taste / smell for the first couple of days because I felt too ill to eat, then when I ended up with hunger cramps as well as feeling like death warmed up and tried to eat something, I got a shock!

I'm honestly struggling to cope with it already. Food feels disgusting to me now with no flavour. The texture of things... I dunno I can't explain it but it's horrible. I really want my senses back!

I hope for both of us they come back soon OP!

I never lost or had my taste change but lost i miss you more than anything sense of smell for about 7 days, DH lost both for about 2 weeks

I guess everyone is different but both of us are fully back to normal

Im day 13/14 now with no taste / smell and its driving me mad 😫

Sorry my child changed words on my phone to insert sentences she had inputted when I type certain words Hahaha ( she thinks it's funny and I don't know how to change it haha)

What I was trying to say was

I only lost my sense of smell which lasted 7 days , no loss of taste or change in taste

DH lost both smell and taste for 14 days.

Everyone is different but both back to normal

She's done it again she's changed the word niece to child I have to select the word niece now otherwise it autocorrects to child

Mine lasted 5 days

It’s so weird. I think I could manage the loss of smell (temporarily) but the loss of taste is horrible . I’ve just got my appetite back-ish and it’s really odd eating. I can recognise the textures but literally no taste. At all. Sorry others are the same but pleased that I’m not alone.
