For those who caught Covid after double vaxx

Can I ask how long your symptoms lasted? I am day 11 of feeling awful, extreme exhaustion, just lying in bed all the time. I was 2.5 weeks post second vaccine. So I’m wondering how long everyone else felt unwell for? Thanks

I'm day 6. I have truly never felt so ill. I've had flu which was bad, had cancer and chemotherapy but this is in a different league of awful.

I'm day 17, have stopped isolating and no longer feel unwell, but I'm still exhausted, and lung function still affected. I'm on antibiotics for a residual chest infection.

I've never felt so ill, it took me the full 10 days to stand up for longer than a few minutes, I spent almost a week in bed.

Not me, but three of my colleagues had it and two of them complained of long term exhaustion. Took them a couple of months to feel right. The other one bounced back into work.

Hi OP. Come and join the Ugh thread where we compare symptoms! I am Day 10 and have no smell. Felt OK this morning and then suddenly could not stay awake and needed a nap.

My son 20 caught Covid 3 months after 2nd jab....no symptoms at all ( found out via positive lateral flow then pcr)

Thanks everyone, seems like a complete range! I hate to think how bad it could have been if I hadn’t been vaccinated based on how awful I feel despite being vaccinated!

I got it at the beginning of the holiday - I teach so fortunately have been able to rest. I believe it would have been day 18 after the positive PCR that I would have gone back to work. Certainly not before. I am aged 0 and have never had more than a couple of days off work in a row. It’s a horrible disease, that’s for sure.

I went for a walk today and I've had to spend all afternoon sitting on the sofa. Over 2 weeks post Covid. Still can't smell or taste.
