My 4 year old and 15 month old both had it. Both had a cough for a few days and a runny nose. Younger one had a high temperature for one night. Both were on the mend after 2 days and absolutely fine after a week.

Yes I have it currently 28 weeks pregnant and my 13 Month old does :( she's just coughing at the mo x

4 month DD had it, she had a temp, snotty blocked nose, cough, went off her food and on one particularly bad day which we ended up at A and E, she was arching her back and crying hysterically as if in agony. Went to hospital and literally as soon as we got there she was fine and seemed to start recovering, staff thought I was going mad probably,

It lasted a couple of weeks and we all had it, early on in lockdown. At the worst nights she didn't sleep well and would only sleep for 30 mins each time on either me or DH. It was awful and we all felt like sh*t.

Thanks for the reply that's made me feel better. Glad they were both okay 😊

My 15 month old daughter had it a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn’t have known she was anything more than teething had we not tested her because her siblings and Dad tested positive.

I hope your son gets it mildly too.

NewLevelsOfTiredness · 13/08/2021 09:09

My daughter had it when she was 20 months - never had any symptoms and we only know because she was tested due to her older sister having it (10 and also no symptoms.)

My partner got it then too and had a thankfully light dose of the adult symptoms, as this was before the vaccine rollout started.

My 2yr old had a fever of 40.1 yesterday, we had to put him in a lukewarm bath and then use wet socks to try and bring his temp down.
He wouldn’t drink anything either, so today we’re giving him all the wet treaty foods we can (custard/ice cream etc) and have got MiL to drop off ibuprofen that we can use with calpol to try and keep his temp down. My advice would be make sure you have plenty of liquid/semi liquid food and drink options, and plenty of baby ibuprofen and paracetamol

My 3 year old & then 9 month old have. My eldest was only grumpy, no symptoms. My youngest it was akin to a heavy cold. Very snotty, a high temp one night, bit of a cough. All recovered in 3/4 days!

Hope they are OK OP!
