Wondering if anyone might know….

My daughter had a positive LFT earlier this week so we did PCR tests via post yesterday. Me, my husband and son have had texts/emails confirming we are negative this morning but my daughters results didn’t come through when our were received all at the same time.

Does anyone know if a positive result take longer to go through the notification process?

I don’t think so. Mine and DH’s went in the same postbox but results arrived more than 48h apart. Both negative.

Both of the positive results came before the negatives for us. They were all many hours apart from each other, having all been done at a walk-in testing centre at the same time.

Coincidentally, my DD’s positive PCR result came back on the same day as ours (negative), yet hers was done the day before ours. Ours came through first, then hers a few hours later. Very odd, but I’m sure there is no reason for it.

We did five at the same time... three came back at exactly the same time- a positive, a negative and an inconclusive. The other two arrived 12 hours later at the same time- one positive, one negative.
Doesn't seem to be any pattern to it ime

That's going to be tricky for the family. Dh was positive and stayed in the master bedroom for a week, and we never caught it. Not the delta variety though I think
