Have any pregnant women shortened their jab interval?

I'm due my second vaccination in mid-September, eight weeks after the first dose. Currently 23 weeks pregnant. I'd really like to move it forward to six weeks - I've got a few work visits and social things in September and I'd feel much more comfortable if I were fully vaccinated.

My local vaccine clinic has a notice saying that they won't consider individual requests for second jabs

Not much help sorry, but I brought mine forward from 12 week gap to 8 weeks - I was able to do online assume because it was 8 weeks rather than 6

I'd speak to your midwife and see if she could give approval for you to do a walk in somewhere at 6 weeks?

Oh, I was 20 weeks and 28 weeks PG (not that that makes any difference but just for context)

Well if they're saying they won't do less than 8 weeks then they won't. Are there other clinics you could enquire at? Depends on your area - they're all doing different things. My city is now running drop in clinics no booking required.
My gap was originally 12 weeks but I rebooked my second so it was 9 weeks. I'd read the 'sweet spot' was 8 weeks (sorry, no links to back that up). Two weeks isn't that much difference in the grand scheme of things.
I'm 24 weeks and feel 'safer' having had both now but am still being fairly cautious with social stuff.

I had my first dose (Moderna) at 14 weeks pregnant, and my second dose 6 weeks and 5 days later. I happened to hear of a pop up / walk in centre near my house and went late in the day when I think they were quite desperate to get rid of their last few doses. Think I got lucky though as I haven't heard of anyone else getting their second less than 8 weeks and I think the guidelines have been tightened on this. As PP said, I think studies now suggest 8 weeks is the "ideal" gap so i would probably have waited had I known that!

My colleague's DIL had hers early, 7 weeks I think, but her consultant arranged it as far as I know.

I made my gap as long as possible. But I was (am) in the very very early weeks. I fell pregnant between first and second jab
