Covid in children - eczema flare up?

Day 8 of isolation for myself and my family after all contracting covid. All got off lightly really but I wondered if anyone with a child (or I guess themselves) with eczema had notice it make the eczema flare up? My 7 year old has had eczema since but usually it is very limited to her wrist and sometimes behind her knees, and with swift treatment with moisturisers is nipped in the bud. However, since contracting covid a week ago her eczema is rife! No amount of moisturiser can stop it peeling - its on her face, back, legs - everywhere! Its usually worse when she is run down so it makes sense but wondered if anyone else had experienced this (and had any advice?)

DS tested got a positive today and his eczema has really flared up for the past few days!

We haven't had COVID in our house yet luckily, but my DD has eczema and when she caught chicken pox, hfm and various other viruses over the years it's always caused a massive eczema flare up. I'd fully expect COVID to have the same effect.

Has your dd had flare ups with other viruses?
